Welcome

Thank you for visiting our website!

The Cherokee Baptist Association was organized in 1869 and is fellowship of Cherokee Baptist Congregations located in the Northeast Oklahoma area. Our Cherokee name Tsa-la-gi Di-li-s-di translates to "Where they come to meet" or "the meeting place" and describes the meeting location of our Assembly Grounds. Our Main Office & Assembly Grounds are located 5 miles east of Tahlequah, OK on Hwy 51 in the Briggs Community.

The CBA is comprised of 38 congregations working together for the purpose of furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our leadership team consists of an executive board comprised of church pastors & designated messengers, three team leaders (Administrative, Pastoral Support and Missions & Evangelism) who oversee the work done at the association level, and departmental directors who are available to help churches in the areas of Sunday School, WMU, & Youth among other areas as requested.

While the CBA has no authority over the churches that are a part of it, we serve as a resource to help churches in various projects & ministries, as well as to provide ways to fellowship with other congregations.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." Psalm 133:1
